Job description
Role Overview
CBZ Bank Limited in Harare, Zimbabwe is looking for a seasoned and highly professional Personal Assistant to directly support the Managing Director. This pivotal role demands a proactive individual adept at managing a dynamic executive schedule, anticipating needs, and coordinating high-level activities with utmost professionalism and confidentiality.
Key Duties
- Expertly manage the Managing Director's complex calendar, meetings, and travel arrangements.
- Draft and prepare executive communications including correspondence, presentations, reports, and briefing documents.
- Oversee daily operations within the Managing Director's office to ensure smooth functioning.
- Coordinate engagements involving internal and external stakeholders such as regulators, Board members, and senior leadership.
- Assist in the preparation and follow-up of Board meetings, Executive Committee sessions, and governance events by organizing briefing materials and tracking agreed action points.
- Manage financial and procurement processes for the Executive Office, maintaining compliance with organizational policies and governance standards.
- Support monitoring of strategic projects and executive action items across departments.
- Handle sensitive executive documents and records with discretion.
- Organize executive meetings and business events to provide a seamless stakeholder experience.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, or a related discipline with a minimum upper second class (2.1) degree.
- Master's degree is advantageous.
- At least 5 years of experience providing support at executive or senior management levels.
- A minimum of 3 years in the financial services industry is essential.
- Experience supporting C-level executives or Executive Offices is highly preferred.
