Performance Tester

Overview

Infosys, a leading global digital services and consulting company operating across 46 countries, seeks experienced Performance Testers to join their consulting team in Pune, India, and other locations across the country. The role supports clients in their digital transformation by conducting performance testing and supporting various project phases from problem definition through solution deployment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the consulting team through multiple project stages including problem analysis, effort estimation, diagnosis, solution design, and implementation.
• Investigate and assess solution alternatives via extensive research such as literature reviews, public domain information, and vendor evaluations, and develop proof of concepts (POCs).
• Translate business needs into requirement specifications and define both future processes and detailed functional designs.
• Configure and support product solutions, diagnose issues, perform root-cause analysis, obtain clarifications, and shortlist appropriate solution options.
• Contribute to unit and organizational level initiatives aimed at delivering high-quality, value-added solutions to customers.

Essential Qualifications and Experience

• 3 to 10 years of hands-on experience in performance testing.
• Proficiency in tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, and Dynatrace is mandatory.
• Educational background includes BE/B.Tech, MCA, M.Tech/ME, BSc, MSc, or MS in any specialization.
