Role and Responsibilities

• Engage in invention disclosure meetings to comprehend and evaluate new inventions.
• Conduct thorough patentability searches and prepare comprehensive reports.
• Communicate search outcomes effectively through verbal and written presentations.
• Carry out technology landscape analyses to offer insights and pinpoint gaps.
• Respond to intellectual property inquiries from inventors and internal teams.

Desired Skills and Qualifications

• Strong analytical abilities to interpret search data and aid decision-making.
• Practical experience using commercial patent databases such as Derwent Innovation, Questel Orbit, and PatSeer.
• Competency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent communication skills, both spoken and written.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Registered Indian Patent Agent.
• Possession of bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering with robust domain knowledge.
• Experience between 0 to 5 years in performing patentability searches in electrical engineering and related fields.

Compensation

Starting salary is Rs. 25,000 per month and may increase depending on experience.
