About the Opportunity
Join a well-established Independent Financial Advice (IFA) practice based in Kimbolton, Cambridgeshire, known for its long-standing client relationships and a personalized approach to financial planning. This role offers the chance to work in a supportive, collaborative environment with a close-knit team to help deliver tailored, high-quality financial planning solutions while enhancing your technical skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive research across the entire market to pinpoint appropriate financial planning solutions.
- Analyze client information and interpret data provided by Financial Advisers.
- Draft suitability reports and recommendation letters tailored to client needs.
- Create quotations and technical illustrations utilizing industry-standard research tools.
- Manage new business applications, tracking cases through to successful completion.
- Request and obtain missing information from clients and providers as necessary.
- Ensure all activities conform to FCA regulations and internal compliance standards.
- Stay updated on changes in products, legislation, and regulatory frameworks.
- Assist advisers in delivering outstanding client experiences.
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience in paraplanning or technical support within an IFA environment.
- Solid understanding of financial planning products and whole-of-market research methodologies.
- Experience preparing suitability reports and handling new business processes.
- Familiarity with FCA compliance and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills paired with a proactive, professional demeanor.
- Preferably Level 4 Diploma qualified or actively working towards this qualification.
