Overview
The Operations Specialist plays a critical role in providing and continuously enhancing business-aligned procurement process services. This role involves handling various time-sensitive and diverse tasks with a focus on compliance, quality, and efficient delivery. Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with local stakeholders is key, along with potentially guiding team members to resolve operational challenges within procurement expertise.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and support team members to meet defined goals, where applicable.
- Deliver procurement process services to achieve specific Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Facilitate procurement services integration within business operations.
- Maintain a proactive approach responsive to client or user needs.
- Understand and engage with stakeholders in the operational scope effectively.
- Ensure adherence to procurement processes, escalating issues when necessary.
- Assist junior colleagues with process adherence and troubleshooting.
- Possess comprehensive knowledge of Procure to Pay (P2P) workflows and cross-functional collaborations.
- Identify and participate in implementing process improvements.
- Support and contribute to transformation projects for continuous improvement.
