Operations Executive

About the Role and Team

We are growing our operations team and seek an Operations Executive or Associate who will be the operational partner to our Operations Director. This role demands proactive engagement beyond routine tasks, focusing on refining and scaling processes as we expand regionally. If you excel at transforming disorganized data and workflows into efficient, error-free systems, you'll excel in our impactful team.

Key Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of the merchant onboarding process, including corporate verification and KYC checks, tracking approval progress, and addressing obstacles to onboard merchants promptly.
• Collaborate closely with leadership to assess current workflows, design clear Standard Operating Procedures, and remove repetitive manual steps.
• Ensure internal data accuracy by maintaining spotless operational metrics and merchant records to support scalable business growth.
• Serve as the main point of contact for resolving daily transaction exceptions, operational challenges, and merchant queries.

Desired Qualifications and Skills

• 1 to 3 years of professional experience in fast-paced sectors such as fintech, digital payments, or e-commerce.
• A proactive, improvement-driven mindset always seeking better ways to execute tasks.
• Exceptional attention to detail, meticulous data management, and strong documentation skills.
• Clear and direct communication style facilitating effective teamwork in a nimble environment.
• Fluency in English (written and verbal); professional-level Mandarin is highly advantageous for collaborating with colleagues in China.
• Self-motivated individual comfortable working in dynamic, ambiguous settings with shifting priorities.
