Job description
Role Overview
The OCN/LN Monitor (Escort) position involves overseeing the movement and activities of un-cleared Local National (LN) and Other Country National (OCN) personnel within the restricted areas of Prince Sultan Air Base. The role requires logging entries and exits, maintaining vigilant supervision of escorted personnel and vehicles, and communicating their presence to relevant staff.
Key Duties
- Provide extensive escort coverage for LN/OCN personnel during their on-base activities.
- Meet LN/OCN personnel at designated access points post-processing, issue identification badges, and brief them on site rules and protocols.
- Accompany LN/OCN personnel through their work areas until tasks complete and ensure the work zones are cleared by trained force protection personnel.
- Prevent entry of prohibited or contraband items such as weapons or drugs onto the base by LN/OCN personnel.
- Maintain constant surveillance of all vehicles and personnel while escorting, ensuring safety and readiness to respond to emergencies including evacuations.
- Promptly report unsafe working conditions to project or site management and safety teams.
- Enforce strict housekeeping standards in work areas.
- Remain alert to any suspicious behavior or comments from escorted personnel, alerting appropriate authorities as needed.
- Execute additional assigned duties as required.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Possession of a valid U.S. passport is preferred.
- Hold a valid U.S. driver’s license with a good driving record.
- Compliance with all USCENTCOM deployment policies, specifically APR 23 MOD EIGHTEEN to USCENTCOM individual and unit deployment directives.
- Capability to obtain and maintain a valid residency visa from the host nation.
- Ability to work under challenging environmental conditions including dust and extreme heat.
- Endurance for extended working hours, outdoor exposure, and hazardous environments.
Additional Information
- This position entails 100% overseas deployment.
- Security clearance requirement: NACI/Public Trust.
