Job description
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled backend developer to contribute to the HOTAC Phase 2 enhancements, facilitate JCT integration, and provide ongoing production support. This role involves working with various technologies and platforms to ensure smooth system operation and feature delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend solutions using .NET Core and .NET Framework with C#.
- Design, implement, and optimize RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
- Work with MS SQL Server and MongoDB for database design, query optimization, and stored procedures development.
- Utilize Kafka and Redis for event-driven messaging and caching mechanisms.
- Deploy and manage applications on Azure cloud infrastructure.
- Implement version control and continuous integration and deployment pipelines with Git.
- Monitor applications, manage logging, and troubleshoot issues efficiently.
- Apply secure coding practices including proper authentication and authorization methods.
- Employ standardized design patterns and maintain adherence to Clean Architecture principles.
- Support fast incident resolution and improved operational support through effective event-driven architecture.
Essential Skills and Knowledge
- Proficiency in backend development with .NET technologies and C#.
- Experience building REST APIs and microservices.
- Strong understanding of database technologies including MS SQL Server and MongoDB.
- Knowledge of Kafka and Redis for messaging and cache systems.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure cloud services.
- Experience with Git source control and CI/CD pipeline implementations.
- Expertise in application monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting.
- Understanding of security principles such as authentication and authorization.
- Good grasp of software design patterns and Clean Architecture methodology.
- Experience working within event-driven architectures to improve operational support.
