Job Location and Experience

This position is based in Bangalore and requires a minimum of 6 years of experience as a MySQL DBA. Immediate joining is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain MySQL database servers and instances.
• Oversee database access control, security measures, and manage user permissions.
• Handle database upgrades, apply patches, and execute migrations effectively.
• Monitor database performance continuously and detect bottlenecks.
• Perform tuning of database performance and optimize queries for efficiency.
• Implement and manage replication, clustering, and high-availability setups.
• Design and maintain reliable backup and recovery solutions.
• Identify and troubleshoot database issues, including performance challenges, errors, and security threats.
• Provide on-call support with availability for 24x7 handling of critical production problems.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts for routine database management and monitoring tasks.
• Work collaboratively with developers, system administrators, and stakeholders to ensure database infrastructure supports application needs.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must hold any graduate degree.
