Role Overview

We are seeking a Mid-Senior Motion Graphic Designer to become part of our team. Reporting to the Motion Graphic Design Lead, you will contribute to animating motion content designed for social channels, digital platforms, presentations, and brand campaigns. This position is primarily based in our Rosebery, Sydney office with hybrid work flexibility available for qualified candidates.

Key Responsibilities

• Conceptualize and create animated motion graphics for various media including promotions, signage, social content, presentations, and explainer videos.
• Develop storyboards to effectively plan animation sequences, pacing, and narrative flow.
• Analyze creative briefs to transform ideas into compelling motion design concepts.
• Produce engaging animations that articulate brand stories and messages visually.
• Collaborate closely with graphic designers, video editors, marketing teams, and clients to ensure coherent project execution.
• Apply expert understanding of animation principles, timing, and pacing to enhance storytelling.
• Iterate and refine deliverables based on feedback and client requirements.

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum 3 years of experience in motion graphic design or animation.
• High proficiency with Adobe After Effects.
• Strong familiarity with the Adobe Creative Suite including Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
• Exceptional sensitivity to design elements such as composition, motion, and detail.
• Proven ability to work independently, prioritize tasks efficiently, and meet deadlines consistently.
• Excellent communication skills that are clear, dependable, and professional.
• Experience with 3D animation is advantageous.
• Exposure to AI-assisted design, animation, or creative ideation tools is a plus.
