APICO - Arabian Plastic Industrial Co. is seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician to become a vital part of our maintenance team based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections, repairs, and routine maintenance on mechanical systems, machinery, and production equipment.
• Implement preventive maintenance procedures to reduce equipment downtime.
• Identify and resolve mechanical malfunctions effectively.
• Install new machinery, mechanical components, and systems as required.
• Align and calibrate mechanical elements such as shafts, bearings, and gears to ensure optimal functionality.
• Adhere strictly to safety and quality standards throughout all maintenance activities.
• Maintain precise documentation regarding repairs, spare parts inventory, and maintenance logs.
• Collaborate with electrical and automation departments to solve complex technical mechanical issues.

Requirements

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance or a related field.
• 2 to 4 years of professional experience in mechanical maintenance, ideally within manufacturing or industrial sectors.
• Comprehensive understanding of hydraulic, pneumatic, and rotating equipment systems.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting mechanical blueprints and technical manuals.
• Hands-on experience using various hand tools, power tools, and precision measurement instruments.
• Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting and solving mechanical problems.
• Familiarity with safety protocols related to mechanical maintenance tasks.
• Proficiency in both Arabic and English languages is an advantage.
