Job description
Job Overview and Responsibilities
This role involves adhering to and advancing the company's safety standards while implementing reliability-based maintenance and 5S practices. The candidate will perform tasks assigned by the Shift In-charge (SIC), ensure compliance with preventive maintenance (PM) protocols, and close PM activities as per company KPIs. Reporting on job completion, recommending modifications to reduce maintenance time, leading peer groups, and assisting the SIC are key aspects of the role.
Maintaining adherence to company principles such as the Founders Principles and LEAN methodologies, along with compliance to DPW's information security, security policies, confidentiality, and global safety requirements is mandatory.
Shift In-charge Responsibilities
- Manage operational logs including logbook and breakdown entries.
- Issue Permit to Work (PTW), Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) procedures.
- Conduct Tool Box Talks (TBT), supervise teams, and prepare shift reports.
- Assign and monitor engineering jobs and activities.
- Complete service requests in Maximo system.
Equipment Maintenance
Responsible for maintenance and repair of various heavy equipment including STS, RMG, E-RTG, RST, ECH, forklifts, workshop equipment, substations, CFS, and township machinery.
Qualifications and Experience
- B.E. or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- A minimum of 3 to 6 years of experience (depending on qualification) in maintenance of heavy lifting equipment.
