About the Programme
The Housekeeping department at Marina Bay Sands is essential to delivering the highest standards of guest satisfaction by meticulously maintaining luxury and comfort. The MBS ASPIRE programme is a structured development initiative designed to cultivate expertise and leadership in housekeeping through three stages: Foundation, Supervisory, and Leadership. Participants gain immersive hands-on experience and progressively build the skills needed to advance their careers in hospitality.
Key Responsibilities
- During the Foundation Phase, develop operational expertise in room preparation, cleanliness, and guest comfort, including rotations through Floral, Wardrobe, Laundry, and Minibar sections to understand integrated housekeeping services.
- Maintain supreme cleanliness in guest rooms and public areas, managing supplies and inventory effectively.
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests, fostering personalized service experiences.
- In the Service Excellence Phase, embody Forbes Travel Guide quality standards through advanced inspection and quality assurance, collaborating with other teams to ensure smooth guest journeys from arrival to departure.
- Contribute actively to sustainability and efficiency projects that improve operations and reduce environmental impact.
- In the Supervisory Exposure Stage, take charge of daily housekeeping operations, managing budgets and resources strategically while mentoring junior team members.
- Oversee scheduling, conduct staff performance reviews, and maintain effective communication across departments to ensure exceptional service.
- Handle guest complaints with empathy and professionalism, initiating innovative solutions and leading development projects aimed at elevating departmental performance.
- Develop and implement impactful training programs tailored for a diverse team to encourage inclusivity and capability enhancement.

- Attain comprehensive knowledge of luxury housekeeping operations and compliance standards.

Eligibility and Requirements
- Possess a Diploma or Degree in any field, or be in the final year of studies with availability to start immediately after graduation.
- Less than two years of full-time work experience, as this is an early career talent programme.
