Role Overview

The position of Material Handler within Production Operations (evening shift) is crucial for ensuring production lines receive timely components and materials, managing movement and storage of finished products in the warehouse, and maintaining stock accuracy. Reporting to the Production Co-Ordinator, this on-site role is based at the facility in Lismeehan, O'Callaghan's Mills, County Clare.

Key Responsibilities

• Supply production lines with necessary components and materials for efficient production flow.
• Handle the transfer and storage of finished goods within the warehouse.
• Perform cycle counts and manage disposal of expired stock to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Procure stock based on requisition orders from various departments, coordinating with the main warehouse as needed.
• Adhere strictly to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and quality system regulations throughout all tasks.

Requirements

• Completed Leaving Certificate or an equivalent qualification.
• Valid forklift licence for Reach and Counterbalance vehicles is mandatory.
• Capability to stand, walk, and undertake manual tasks consistently during shifts.
• Experience or willingness to use pallet trucks or other material handling equipment; training provided where necessary.
• Preparedness to work in temperature-controlled environments such as cold storage areas.
• Previous manufacturing experience, especially involving forklift operation, is advantageous.
• Knowledge of GMP regulations within a highly regulated manufacturing environment is a plus.

Shift Details

• Shift timing Monday to Thursday: 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM.
• Friday shift: 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
