Role Overview

As a Marine Engineer/Technician, you will operate alongside a motivated team dedicated to technical excellence, working Monday to Friday from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. Your responsibilities include diagnosing issues, troubleshooting, testing performance, installing and integrating mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, performing repairs and preventative maintenance, commissioning, conducting sea trials, and providing technical assistance to captains and vessel owners. The role requires onsite and marina-based work primarily on the Gold Coast.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold full Australian working rights or citizenship.
• At least 2 years of practical marine engineering experience or a related field.
• Proven expertise in mechanical marine systems is essential.
• Experience with electrical or hydraulic marine systems is advantageous.
• Strong skills in diagnostics and fault-finding.
• Ability to work both independently and effectively within a high-performance team.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and ongoing improvement.
