Manager, University Printing Press

Overview

The University of Cape Coast seeks applications from highly motivated, experienced, and results-driven professionals for the role of Manager at its University Printing Press.

Key Responsibilities

• Organize and oversee print production schedules to ensure timely output.
• Examine materials, products, and equipment to identify faults or operational issues.
• Determine labor and equipment needs, along with production specifications, utilizing standard calculation methods.
• Lead and manage staff teams, oversee production processes and maintain quality assurance standards.
• Design and implement production sequences to achieve set production goals.
• Conduct routine maintenance on printing machinery and equipment to ensure optimal functioning.

Term of Appointment

• This is a full-time position offered on a renewable four-year contract basis.

Qualifications and Experience

• Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Publishing Studies or a closely related field is required.
• Hold an M.Phil degree in Publishing Studies.
• Have at least four years of professional experience post-qualification in the printing or publishing sector.
