Manager - Risk Services AI Factory (Data Scientist)

About the Role and Company

PwC Singapore's Assurance line service is seeking a Manager for Risk Services within their AI Factory to advance data and analytics engineering efforts. The team is focused on harnessing cutting-edge technologies to transform unprocessed data into meaningful insights that support well-grounded business decisions and stimulate growth. This particular role centers on artificial intelligence and machine learning, where the incumbent will develop and deploy sophisticated AI/ML solutions to foster innovation and optimize operational workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Guide the design and implementation of Generative AI models alongside advanced data analytical methods to derive practical insights from intricate datasets.
• Handle administrative duties related to risk management through effective interaction with diverse stakeholders.
• Lead comprehensive project management functions, from requirement analysis and research strategy formulation to ensuring prompt deliverables.
• Drive research and development efforts to keep the team at the forefront of AI advancements.
• Provide mentorship and support to junior data scientists, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development within the team.

Essential Qualifications and Skills

• Possess a Master’s or Ph.D. in a quantitative discipline such as Data Science, Computer Science, Applied Statistics, or Mathematics, supported by a minimum of five years professional experience.
• Demonstrate deep proficiency with large language models (LLMs), open-source technologies, big data frameworks, machine learning, and numerical programming libraries.
• Strong programming skills in Python and familiarity with other relevant programming languages.
• Documented experience in leading and managing complex projects and teams effectively.
