Role Overview

Are you looking to start your career post-graduation with more than just any job? Do you want to learn, grow, and take on responsibility as a future Hotel Manager, fueled by your passion for hospitality? Our Management Trainee program offers an ideal pathway to build a promising career with Motel One Group.

Over 12 to 18 months, you will rotate among three hotels (both domestic and international), gaining hands-on experience in all operational hotel departments. You will engage in additional projects and receive guidance from experienced mentors to expand your skills and knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in on-the-job training across all operational hotel areas, including Front Office, Housekeeping, and Service, to understand the essence of genuine hospitality.
• Contribute actively to day-to-day operations, identify areas for improvement, and enhance guest experiences.
• Develop leadership abilities by working alongside managers, assisting with team coordination and motivation, and leading your own projects.
• Benefit from mentorship and continuous feedback, with a personalized development plan and regular performance reviews.
• Attend internal workshops and training sessions at the Motel One Campus, build a professional network, and prepare for future leadership roles.

Candidate Profile

• Completed degree in Hospitality, Tourism, Business Administration, or a comparable qualification from a tourism school.
• At least one year of practical experience across different hotel departments; prior leadership experience is advantageous.
• Flexibility regarding assignment locations and willingness to travel.
• Strong desire to take on responsibility, lead by example, motivate teams, and make bold decisions, driven by passion for hospitality and career goals as a hotel manager.
• High interpersonal skills, open and communicative personality, and a positive outlook.
• Fluency in both German and English.
• Analytical thinking, high attention to quality, and strong service orientation.
• Ability to work in a structured, independent, and team-oriented manner.
