Established in Amman in August 2021, it is wholly Jordanian-owned, with all technology, including mobile applications, dispatch systems, CRM, MDM, and a bilingual chatbot, internally developed by a Jordanian engineering team. The platform prioritizes price transparency, honesty, and quality, aiming to reinvent delivery services by deeply understanding local customer needs. Role Summary

The Logistics Manager at MyThings is entrusted with setting strategic direction and supervising day-to-day operations to ensure sustainable business growth. This on-site, full-time position is situated in Amman and involves defining and optimizing the business model, establishing service quality and performance benchmarks, and steering product and technology roadmaps in cooperation with leadership and engineering teams. Responsibilities include managing key partnerships, overseeing financial planning and budgeting, and tracking operational metrics related to delivery, customer service, and the marketplace segment. The role requires building and guiding a proficient team, fostering a transparent and innovative company culture, and representing the company to investors, partners, and community stakeholders. The Manager is also responsible for continuously evaluating market trends and customer feedback to drive improvements aligned with MyThings’ mission to support the local economy and deliver exceptional service.

Qualifications

• Robust skills in strategic planning and managing business operations, including establishing long-term vision, growth goals, and operational priorities.
• Demonstrated leadership, with experience in recruiting, developing, and maintaining diverse, high-performing teams.
• Strong financial expertise encompassing budgeting, profit and loss management, and data-informed decisions to foster revenue growth and optimize costs.
• Background in operations management, ideally within last-mile delivery, logistics, e-commerce, or quick-commerce sectors.
• Understanding of technology-led product development and ability to work effectively with engineering and product groups.
• Superior communication and negotiation capabilities to handle relationships with partners, vendors, investors, and internal stakeholders.
• Familiarity with Jordan’s market environment and regulatory requirements, along with dedication to advancing the local economy and technology ecosystem.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Engineering, or a related discipline; an advanced degree such as an MBA is advantageous.
