About the Role

IHG Hotels & Resorts is seeking a vigilant and responsible Lifeguard to ensure the safety and well-being of guests at its pool and recreational areas in Riyadh. The successful candidate will monitor aquatic activities, respond promptly to emergencies, and foster a secure and pleasant atmosphere, adhering to IHG's stringent standards for guest care and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Observe guests in and around pool and recreational water zones to avert accidents.
• Consistently enforce all established safety rules and regulations.
• Provide immediate and effective responses to emergencies, including executing rescue and first aid techniques.
• Perform routine safety assessments of pool environments and associated equipment.
• Inform guests about pool safety protocols and usage guidelines.
• Maintain precise and thorough documentation of incidents and safety evaluations.
• Coordinate with recreation and security departments to guarantee comprehensive guest safety.
• Participate in ongoing training sessions and maintain all necessary certifications.

Key Skills & Experience

• Possession of a certified lifeguard qualification, along with current CPR and First Aid certifications.
• Exceptional observational capabilities and meticulous attention to detail.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain composure and make decisive actions during emergency scenarios.
• Proficiency in communication and interpersonal interactions.
• Previous experience as a Lifeguard is advantageous.
• Dedication to cultivating a secure and inviting environment.
• Adaptability to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
