Role Overview

This is a full-time, on-site Lifeguard position in Saudi Arabia at Tarfeeh Fakieh’s waterfront and pool locations. The role is centered on protecting guest safety, overseeing activities in and around the water, and making sure all site rules and safety standards are followed.

Key Duties

• Keep watch over swimming areas and supervise all water-related activity to help prevent accidents.
• Enforce safety guidelines and facility rules consistently.
• Act quickly during emergencies, including rescues and other urgent situations.
• Provide first aid and CPR when needed, and use AED support where required.
• Record and report incidents in line with company procedures.
• Inspect safety and rescue equipment on a regular basis to ensure it remains ready for use.
• Maintain tidy and well-organized poolside and beach areas.
• Offer courteous, clear guidance to guests on safe use of the facilities.
• Work with other team members to support a positive guest experience while maintaining a safe environment.

Qualifications

Candidates should be strong swimmers with solid water-safety ability and the confidence to carry out rescues in both pool and open-water settings. A valid lifeguard certification from a recognized provider is expected, along with CPR, first aid, and AED certification, or a willingness to obtain them.

Applicants should have strong attention to detail, good situational awareness, and the ability to spot risks early while following safety procedures carefully. Good communication and people skills are important for giving instructions, helping guests from different backgrounds, and working well with colleagues.

The job also requires physical fitness, stamina, the ability to stand for long periods, and the capacity to respond rapidly in emergencies while handling rescue equipment safely. Candidates must be able to stay calm under pressure, make quick decisions, and handle guest concerns professionally.

Experience in lifeguarding, aquatic operations, or hospitality is beneficial. Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays is also required, depending on business needs.
