About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled Learning and Development Lead to join their Human Resources team on a fixed-term contract lasting 12 months. This role is well suited for a seasoned HR or L&D expert who is passionate about creating interactive and compelling learning experiences while overseeing the practical delivery of development programs across the organization.

In close collaboration with the broader Talent team, you will be instrumental in enhancing organizational capacity by designing, coordinating, and facilitating learning programs that empower employees and leaders at all career stages. This position offers a combination of strategic program planning and hands-on training execution, making it ideal for those who thrive throughout the entire learning lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, design, and implement engaging learning and development programs for employees and leadership.
  • Conduct virtual and in-person workshops, webinars, and training sessions effectively.
  • Manage the full lifecycle of learning initiatives, including scheduling, communication with participants, enrollment, and logistical arrangements.
  • Create comprehensive learning materials such as facilitator guides, participant workbooks, digital content, and support documents.
  • Collaborate with HR peers and business leaders to assess capability requirements and suggest appropriate training solutions.
  • Support leadership development programs, early career initiatives, and capacity-building efforts within the organization.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to managers and employees regarding learning opportunities, career progression, and professional growth.
  • Oversee partnerships with external training providers and learning vendors.
  • Administer and maintain the Learning Management System (LMS) to ensure accurate learning tracking and reporting.

Candidate Profile

  • Proven experience in Learning & Development, Talent Development, or Human Resources roles.

  • Experience managing learning programs from inception to evaluation.
  • Proficiency with Learning Management Systems and associated administrative tasks.
  • Excellent organizational and project management capabilities with keen attention to detail.
  • Superior communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Collaborative mindset with an ability to develop strong partnerships across the organization.
  • Familiarity with reporting tools such as Power BI is advantageous.
  • A CIPD qualification or formal Learning & Development certification is preferred.
