Overview

We are currently looking for a Kitchen Porter to join The Old Swan Hotel in Harrogate. This role supports kitchen operations by ensuring cleanliness and assisting the culinary team with various tasks to maintain an efficient and smooth service.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize kitchen tools, equipment, and surfaces thoroughly.
• Provide assistance to chefs by performing simple food preparation duties as needed.
• Handle waste management including proper disposal and recycling processes.
• Maintain a consistent supply of sanitized dishes, pots, and pans by operating dishwashing machines and hand washing when required.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Previous experience in a kitchen environment is an advantage but not mandatory.
• Meticulous attention to cleanliness and hygiene standards.
• Good communication abilities and willingness to collaborate with the team.

What’s Offered
