Key Account Specialist

About the Role

We are collaborating with a well-established manufacturing firm to recruit a Key Account Specialist passionate about cultivating customer relationships, overseeing projects, and partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver excellent client service.

Job Responsibilities

• Oversee a designated set of customer accounts, acting as the main commercial liaison.
• Develop strong bonds with clients by understanding their business needs and product specifications.
• Manage processes including requests for quotations (RFQs), pricing, costing, and commercial proposal submissions.
• Identify chances to expand current customer accounts and aid new business ventures.
• Coordinate projects from quotation stages through new product introductions and production transitions.
• Collaborate closely with Engineering, Quality, Production, Planning, and Supply Chain departments to fulfill client requirements.
• Monitor project timelines, quotation statuses, opportunities, and customer action points.
• Assist in resolving issues and ensure timely communication with customers.
• Work in conjunction with manufacturing facilities in Singapore, Malaysia, and China supporting customer programs.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• Open to fresh graduates; applicants with 1 to 3 years of pertinent experience are preferred.
• Background in Account Management, Sales Support, Customer Service, Program or Project Coordination, or Commercial Support in a manufacturing setting is an asset.
• Knowledge of precision engineering, plastics injection molding, electronics manufacturing services, tooling, medical device production, or contract manufacturing is advantageous.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Highly organized with strong follow-up and coordination capabilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
