Kalkulator (m/w/d)

About the role

BUG Verkehrsbau SE is looking for a Kalkulator who is comfortable working with numbers and can manage construction cost planning with accuracy and business sense. In this role, you will help ensure that rail infrastructure projects are planned and delivered efficiently, on schedule, and within budget. The position is based in Chemnitz and is intended for someone who wants to contribute their expertise in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare independent cost calculations for bids in transport infrastructure projects
• Process and review tender offers and quotations
• Create bills of quantities to support functional tenders
• Develop and assess construction schedule plans, including the preparation of alternative proposals
• Evaluate and select the submitted inquiry documents

Requirements

• Completed university or university of applied sciences degree in civil engineering, or an equivalent qualification
• Practical experience with construction-related software such as iTwo, Tilos, and BRZ, along with strong MS Office skills
• Ability to work collaboratively while remaining structured, self-directed, and goal-oriented
• Excellent German language skills, both written and spoken
• Valid driving licence category B
