Role Overview

We are collaborating with a technology company based in Berlin to enhance the visibility of their internal operations and financial information. The Junior Reporting Analyst will play a crucial role in refining data structures and constructing dependable reporting tools that leadership can confidently rely upon. This is a permanent full-time position with fully remote work flexibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior consultants to gather and understand client requirements.
• Cleanse and organize extensive datasets to prepare them for system integration.
• Assist in creating and validating financial reports using Excel and contemporary business intelligence platforms.
• Develop comprehensive documentation and user manuals for deployed systems.
• Monitor data feeds for anomalies and conduct basic troubleshooting tasks.
• Engage in internal quality reviews to ensure accuracy and completeness of deliverables.
• Prepare materials that effectively communicate data insights to clients.
• Maintain a detailed project knowledge base covering all configuration procedures.

Candidate Profile

• Completed or nearing completion of a degree in Finance, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, capable of using features such as lookups and pivot tables.
• Basic understanding of database operations and data flow between systems.
• Strong written English skills for clear and thorough documentation.
• Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and logical problem-solving approach.
• Comfortable working independently in a remote work environment.
• Genuine interest in the application of data for financial decision-making.
• Quick adaptability to new software tools and reporting technologies.
