Junior Project Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a Junior Project Manager to join an award-winning exhibition design and build company in the West Midlands, UK. This position is ideal for individuals at the start of their project management career—recent graduates or those with some industry experience aiming to grow within project management in the exhibitions and live events domain.

You will work closely with an experienced team, independently managing smaller projects and assisting in the execution of large-scale exhibition projects for global clients both across the UK and internationally. This engaging role offers diverse daily tasks, opportunities to travel, and significant learning and development prospects.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the coordination and delivery of exhibitions and live event projects from initial concept through to completion.
• Oversee smaller projects under the mentorship of senior project managers.
• Communicate effectively with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to maintain project schedules.
• Organize schedules, production timelines, logistics, and project documentation.
• Review technical drawings and specifications with the Design team.
• Prepare Health & Safety documentation and other project-related paperwork.
• Visit suppliers and manufacturers to perform quality inspections.
• Attend exhibitions domestically and internationally to assist with on-site installations and ensure high-quality project delivery.
• Contribute to managing project budgets, supplier relationships, and financial reports.
• Continuously update knowledge on new materials, production processes, and industry developments.
