Role overview

Eurest USA is looking to hire a full-time Janitor for the Delta CVG site in Hebron, Kentucky. This is an on-site role with online applications only. The schedule is full time, and the days and hours can vary; the exact timing will be shared during the interview.

Pay

The position offers a fixed rate of $17.50 per hour.

Main duties

• Keep the facility clean, organized, and well maintained.
• Remove trash in line with approved disposal and infection-control procedures.
• Dry dust and wet mop floors using the prescribed methods.
• Move equipment and furniture when needed for cleaning and return items to their proper places afterward.
• Clean assigned spaces using the provided tools, materials, and equipment, including sanitizing surfaces and following the eight-step cleaning process.
• Wash walls, windows, furniture, baseboards, and other surfaces to support a safe and sanitary environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
• Identify areas that need attention and take initiative to complete cleaning tasks.
• Complete all work assigned by the supervisor.
• Carry out duties according to all applicable federal, state, and county rules.
• Strip, scrub, buff, and refinish floors, and shampoo carpets when required.
• Work cooperatively with the team and maintain professionalism with customers, coworkers, and others.
• Handle any other duties assigned as needed.

Experience and requirements

Prior janitorial experience is required. Candidates must be able to perform the essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation. Some positions may require a Florida Level 2 background screening. Eurest also maintains a drug-free workplace.
