Role Responsibilities

• Monitor stock levels, identify shortages and supply risks to ensure uninterrupted operations
• Analyze demand, usage patterns, lead times, and stock quantities to optimize inventory and support replenishment planning
• Collaborate with Procurement, Warehouse, Maintenance, and Operations teams to address supply challenges and urgent needs
• Maintain accurate material master data and investigate any inventory inconsistencies or unusual activities
• Manage excess, surplus, slow-moving, and obsolete inventory to control investment in stock
• Evaluate inventory performance and initiate process improvements, enhance reporting, and improve controls

Candidate Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in inventory control, materials management, supply planning, procurement, or warehouse operations, preferably in mining or heavy industry
• Knowledge of inventory optimization principles including replenishment planning, stock movements, and supply risk management
• Strong analytical skills to interpret demand, usage, and lead-time data effectively
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems, SAP preferred
• Excellent organizational and prioritization abilities
• Strong communication skills and ability to engage stakeholders effectively
• Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team environment
• Commitment to data accuracy, process follow-through, and continuous improvements
