Overview
The Human Resources Officer will deliver comprehensive HR support across all functional areas, including managing employee lifecycle processes, handling employee relations, overseeing performance management, ensuring HR policy adherence, and supporting workforce compliance and engagement initiatives. This role acts as a vital intermediary connecting employees, management, and operational units while aligning HR services with organizational goals for both white-collar and blue-collar personnel.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full employee lifecycle activities such as onboarding, promotions, transfers, contract changes, and exits.
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate employee records within the HR management system.
- Draft official HR documentation including employment verification letters, salary certificates, no-objection certificates, and disciplinary notices.
- Facilitate probation assessments, confirmation procedures, and adjustments to employee status.
- Guarantee compliance of all HR actions with internal policies and UAE labor laws.
- Organize onboarding programs, documentation, visa processes, and new hire orientation to ensure seamless employee integration.
- Serve as primary contact for employee inquiries and grievances; provide counseling and assist with conflict resolution.
- Support disciplinary procedures and encourage a positive workplace atmosphere, particularly for employees residing in company accommodations.
- Coordinate annual and mid-year performance appraisals, monitor performance improvement plans, and generate related reports.
- Assist with employee engagement initiatives, including surveys, recognition events, wellness programs, and communication campaigns.
- Monitor and enforce HR policy compliance, including regulatory documentation, visa and work permit management.
- Prepare monthly HR analytics and dashboards reporting on workforce metrics such as headcount, turnover, absenteeism, and demographics.
- Support recruitment processes by coordinating interviews, onboarding, and collaborating with talent acquisition teams to ensure smooth staffing and deployment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a closely related area.
- Three to five years of hands-on HR experience with exposure to facilities management, property management, construction, hospitality, or service sectors.
- Practical knowledge of managing HR functions for both blue-collar and white-collar employees.
- Strong familiarity with UAE labor law and compliance requirements.
- Competence in using HR management software and reporting tools.
