Overview
A reputable organization in Saudi Arabia is seeking an experienced Human Resources Director to lead and enhance its HR operations at their Jeddah facility. This leadership role reports directly to the Vice President of Shared Services and is crucial for aligning HR strategy with overall organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct the formulation and execution of the HR strategy, ensuring alignment with the company's business objectives.
- Manage workforce and manpower planning, recruitment processes, staffing, and talent acquisition activities.
- Oversee performance management systems, employee relations, compensation frameworks, and organizational development efforts.
- Create and implement programs aimed at attracting and retaining talent effectively.
- Set, monitor, and analyze HR Key Performance Indicators to enhance HR performance and effectiveness.
- Lead the deployment and advancement of HR systems and technologies.
- Steer organizational change initiatives and support teams through transformational phases.
- Ensure HR policies and procedures comply with governmental regulations and safeguard employee rights.
- Collaborate with senior management to align human resources priorities with business strategies.
- Maintain productive relationships with governmental bodies, recruitment agencies, and external partners.
Candidate Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, or a related field is required.
- Possessing a Master’s degree or an MBA is strongly preferred.
- Minimum 15 to 20 years of advancing HR experience, including at least 5 years in senior leadership or director-level roles.
- Comprehensive HR expertise, covering areas such as talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, compensation, and organizational development.
- Excellent leadership abilities coupled with skills in strategic planning, communication, and stakeholder engagement.
- Proficient in English language communication.
- Professional certifications such as CIPD, SHRM-SCP, or SHRM-CP are considered advantageous.
