AIRE Ancient Baths provides a unique relaxation retreat inspired by ancient Roman, Greek, and Ottoman bath traditions. Located in a historic Edwardian Classicism building in Toronto's Fashion District, the space blends heritage with luxury, featuring restored architecture and vintage decor that honor its past as a printing company. The facility includes amenities such as a dry sauna and an indoor/outdoor bath area, designed to create a serene escape.
Role Overview
As a Housekeeper, your primary responsibility is to uphold AIRE’s exceptional cleanliness and service standards. You will manage the locker rooms to ensure a pristine and welcoming atmosphere, support guests before and after their bath experience, and maintain supplies and laundry operations. Professionalism, attention to detail, and guest interaction are vital in sustaining the luxury environment AIRE offers.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure client comfort and well-being within the changing rooms by maintaining cleanliness and providing necessary amenities.
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries, enhancing their visit through excellent service.
- Maintain adherence to company grooming standards and professional conduct.
- Clean and sanitize locker rooms, showers, and common areas to meet stringent hygiene protocols.
- Replenish toiletries and hygiene products, ensuring organized presentation.
- Manage waste disposal duties to keep areas sanitary and odor-free.
- Sweep and mop floors with appropriate materials, ensuring safety and cleanliness.
- Handle towel collection, laundering, and restocking to maintain orderly towel displays.
- Keep showers, sinks, toilets, and mirrors spotless, frequently sanitizing high-contact surfaces.
- Wipe down lockers, benches, and other surfaces to remove dust and smudges.
- Observe health and safety regulations to guarantee a hygienic and secure environment.
- Monitor locker room privacy and tranquility for guests.
- Collaborate professionally with team members and management to address guest needs and operational concerns.
Candidate Profile
- Previous experience in hospitality, spa, or gym environments is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with excellent interpersonal communication.
- Professional appearance and behavior consistent with company standards.
- Highly detail-oriented and well-organized.
- Physically capable to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds.
