About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Home Delivery Driver to join our team at Iceland Foods in Tonbridge, England. This position involves delivering groceries directly to customers, representing the face of Iceland with pride and excellent service. The role requires active engagement, independence, and a positive attitude toward customer interaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Adhere strictly to safe van loading procedures, including handling heavy items manually
• Maintain safe driving standards at all times
• Perform regular van inspections and safety checks
• Ensure food deliveries arrive in optimal condition
• Deliver excellent customer service during every interaction
• Offer assistance in-store when needed
• Work autonomously, managing time and tasks efficiently
• Adapt to flexible shift schedules, which may range between 6am and 11pm

Candidate Requirements

• Possession of a full driving license held for a minimum of 3 years with no more than 6 penalty points
• Positive, friendly demeanor with a passion for customer service
• Punctuality and ability to meet deadlines consistently
• Strong commitment to road safety awareness and practices

Compensation and Benefits

• Hourly wage of £13.71
