Job description
About the Role
This permanent full-time position entails maintaining exceptional cleanliness and hygiene across a hospital and mental health units, including low and medium secure areas. Working collaboratively with a team, the Cleaner will adhere rigorously to the standard cleaning protocols to uphold service excellence.
Responsibilities
- Execute daily cleaning duties as per schedule to maintain a hygienic environment.
- Maintain infection prevention standards throughout the hospital premises.
Requirements
Previous experience or volunteering within a Mental Health setting is beneficial but not mandatory.
Working Hours and Compensation
The role involves 37.5 hours per week, operating Monday to Friday with alternating shift patterns: one week Monday to Friday 9:00–17:00; next week Monday to Wednesday plus Saturday and Sunday 9:00–17:00. The pay rate is £12.71 per hour on weekdays, £19.01 per hour on Saturdays (time and a half), and £25.42 per hour on Sundays (double time).
