Head - Operations

Overview

We seek an experienced Operations Manager to lead our factory and on-site teams involved in aluminium fenestration and facade projects. This role demands oversight of production and installation functions, working initially under directive guidance and gradually moving towards independent responsibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Organize and control daily factory production to achieve fabrication and assembly targets.
• Supervise on-site installation and glazing teams operating at various project sites.
• Allocate manpower efficiently across factory and site in line with project deadlines and priorities.
• Maintain strict quality checks throughout factory and site phases to uphold company standards.
• Monitor project timelines and alert management proactively about any delays or resource constraints.
• Ensure prompt availability of materials by coordinating with external vendors including extrusion, powder coating, glass, hardware, and delivery providers.
• Implement and enforce safety regulations and discipline at both factory and site environments.
• Manage daily team operations including attendance, task delegation, and conflict resolution between factory and site staff.
• Communicate progress and technical details effectively with clients, engineers, and contractors during project execution.
• Provide routine production and site status reports to company directors, highlighting any critical issues.

Candidate Requirements

• 4 to 6 years of experience overseeing factory/production and site operations, preferably within aluminium fabrication, glazing, facade, or related metal and construction sectors.
• Proven ability in supervising fabrication or on-site installation teams, with experience across both areas considered beneficial.
• Competent in aluminium window and facade manufacturing, assembly, and glazing workflows.
• Skilled in interpreting technical and shop drawings.
• Strong leadership skills managing teams of 15 or more personnel.
• Excellent communication and coordination aptitude to effectively liaise with vendors, clients, and site teams.
• Proactive problem solver capable of handling day-to-day operational decisions independently.
• Willingness to travel regularly between the factory and multiple project locations.
