Role Overview

We invite applications for a Graduate Metallurgist to join our Mineral Processing team at the Bureau Veritas Minerals Laboratory in Wingfield, South Australia. This role offers diverse challenges and involvement in projects that meet both immediate and long-term targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct metallurgical testing as directed by Project or Senior Project Metallurgists.
• Compile and prepare testwork data and reports for review by metallurgical staff.
• Oversee laboratory technicians performing testwork under supervision.
• Support project management duties and assist in producing weekly reports for clients and the Technical Manager.
• Comply fully with Bureau Veritas Minerals’ Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental (QHSE) policies and standards.

The testwork focuses on a variety of commodities, including but not limited to iron ore, gold, and base metal ores. Prior exposure to processing these materials is advantageous.

Candidate Profile

• Degree holder in Metallurgy or Chemical Engineering.
• Physically able and prepared to undertake manual handling tasks.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Organized and methodical in approach to work.
• Strong team orientation with dedication to quality and safety.
