Role Overview
The Global SSD Demand Planner role is centered on the Services and Support channel within Integrated Business Planning (IBP), ensuring cohesive forecasting and coordinated demand scheduling across marketing, sales, finance, procurement, manufacturing, and customer service. This position demands close collaboration with regional SSD demand planners and IBP data scientists to deliver reliable forecasts and global demand review coordination, ultimately driving enhanced customer satisfaction and streamlined internal operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop precise demand forecasts by leveraging IBP data scientist models, market trends, and input from field sales teams.
- Lead demand review sessions with sales and marketing teams to validate and refine forecasts.
- Ensure timely and dependable demand planning to support business needs.
- Analyze historical sales data and demand drivers to guide future forecasting accuracy.
- Conduct root cause analyses on forecast metrics such as accuracy and bias to pinpoint areas for improvement.
- Consolidate forecasts to produce an accurate view of unconstrained demand.
- Review quarterly IBP deviations to assess impacts on current planning cycles.
- Facilitate best practice development and encourage consensus building among cross-functional experts.
- Implement corrective measures and communicate improvements through structured stakeholder engagement plans.
- Track forecast consumption and achievement against targets to ensure performance alignment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree or equivalent experience.
- At least 10 years of relevant experience, especially in sales, marketing, finance, or related forecasting/planning roles.
- Proven expertise in business problem assessment and delivering significant solutions.
- Strong leadership qualities and executive presence.
- Excellent communication skills suited for interaction across all management levels.
- Self-driven and capable of autonomous work.
Compensation and Terms
This is a full-time role with weekly schedules, including options for remote work. The position is classified under levels Quadro or Dirigente per the CCNL Terziario, distribuzione e servizi – Cod. H011, which outlines salary ranges and employment conditions.
Annual compensation ranges from 66,664 to 104,163 EUR in Italy, equivalent to approximately $139,440 to $261,450 USD including bonus eligibility, equity, and benefits, adjusted by role, location, and candidate qualifications.
Additional Information
