Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Gen AI Engineer for an exciting opportunity with a client specializing in IT Services and Digital Engineering in the banking sector. This position demands deep expertise with real-world AI systems, including experience with large language models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines, and hands-on work with AI agents. The role also requires strong proficiency in React and TypeScript for front-end development and some backend development experience using Go. Knowledge of investment banking will be considered an advantage. This is a senior-level position and not suitable for beginners, as it requires proof of deployment experience in AI projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain production AI systems focused on banking domain applications.
- Implement and optimize large language models and RAG pipelines for enhanced AI capabilities.
- Work directly with AI agents in real-time environments.
- Develop front-end applications using React and TypeScript, ensuring seamless user experiences.
- Contribute to backend services primarily using Go language.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including digital engineering and IT services.
Candidate Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional experience working on deployed AI systems.
- Strong practical knowledge of LLMs and Retrieval-Augmented Generation pipelines.
- Hands-on experience with AI agents technology.
- Proficiency in front-end technologies: React and TypeScript.
- Exposure to backend development, specifically with Go.
- Bonus: Background or understanding of investment banking.
