BHIMSI Foundation is a non-profit entity focused on advancing social development through innovation, digital inclusion, education, healthcare, community empowerment, and public welfare initiatives. A key venture, the Digital Door Number Plate Project, seeks to equip every household with a GPS-enabled digital address featuring QR code identification, aiming to enhance access to emergency and government services.

Role Overview

The foundation is looking for zealous and results-driven Fundraisers to spearhead financial resource mobilization and form strategic partnerships essential for scaling the Digital Door Number Plate Project across India. The successful candidate will scout for potential donors, CSR collaborators, philanthropic institutions, foundations, government funding sources, and individual contributors, ensuring transparency and adherence to relevant regulations and organizational policies.

Key Duties

Formulate and execute fundraising strategies to expand project reach.
Engage with CSR partners, corporations, trusts, foundations, and philanthropists.
Establish and nurture long-lasting relationships with donors and allies.
Craft fundraising proposals, sponsorship materials, presentations, and concept notes.
Organize and manage fundraising campaigns, donor engagements, awareness drives, and community outreach activities.
Collaborate with coordinators at state, district, block, and village levels for localized fundraising efforts.
Maintain detailed donor databases and provide periodic fundraising reports.
Ensure compliance with legal requirements and organizational policies in all fundraising undertakings.
Represent BHIMSI Foundation at conferences, meetings, and networking opportunities.
Work closely with the executive leadership to meet fundraising goals and project targets.

Qualifications and Experience

Graduate or postgraduate degree in any discipline.
Prior experience in NGO fundraising, CSR, business development, sales, marketing or public relations is advantageous.
Existing networks within corporate, donor or CSR sectors are a plus.
Strong motivation driven by social impact and community empowerment.
Proven leadership, organizational capabilities, and self-motivation.

Skills Required

Excellent written and verbal communication along with presentation skills.
Proficiency in networking and building relationships.
Competency in proposal writing and documentation.
Effective negotiation and persuasion abilities.
Understanding of CSR frameworks and NGO fundraising preferred.
Computer literacy including MS Office, Email, PowerPoint, and CRM tools.
Willingness and ability to travel as necessary.

Employment Details

This role can be offered on a full-time, part-time, or consultancy basis depending upon project needs. Open to candidates across India with remote work arrangements. The Fundraiser will report directly to the Project Director or CEO of BHIMSI Foundation.
