About the Role
DSV, a global leader in transport and logistics, is seeking a Freight Forwarder specialized in Sea Freight Pricing for their office in Krefeld, Germany. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and structure sea freight pricing offers to determine and shape competitive prices.
- Negotiate rates with shipping lines and service partners in coordination with relevant departments.
- Manage, monitor, and oversee export and import price agreements.
- Organize and control the follow-up process for quotations to ensure timely responses.
- Perform sales price controlling based on customer orders and generate reports as required.
- Assist with pricing strategy during tender processes.
Qualifications and Skills
- Completed training as a freight forwarding and logistics services clerk, industrial clerk, wholesale and foreign trade clerk, or a comparable qualification.
- Proven experience handling sea freight pricing processes.
- Proficiency in standard MS Office applications.
- Excellent German communication skills and good command of English, both written and spoken.
- Strong communication abilities with confident demeanor, focused on customer service and client orientation.
- Effective time management, flexibility, independence, and teamwork skills.
