About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Freelance Marketplace Manager to oversee and grow our presence on platforms such as Upwork, Fiverr, Toptal, and other freelance marketplaces. This role requires proven hands-on expertise in effectively managing freelance accounts and securing projects—not merely having profiles on these platforms. Your primary responsibility will be to generate real business opportunities by identifying quality projects, crafting persuasive proposals, communicating with potential clients, and coordinating project advancement.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize our freelance marketplace profiles to increase project acquisitions.
- Identify and target freelance projects that match our skill set and have high potential.
- Develop personalized, compelling proposals that differentiate us from competitors.
- Engage with prospective clients and assess the viability of project opportunities.
- Arrange and facilitate discovery calls between clients and our technical team.
- Maintain and track leads, ensuring timely follow-up communications.
- Establish and nurture relationships with potential clients to generate ongoing opportunities.
- Analyze marketplace strategies to enhance win rates and continuously refine our approach.
Candidate Profile
- Demonstrable, active experience managing profiles and winning contracts on Upwork or similar freelance marketplaces.
- Proven ability to successfully apply for projects, write persuasive proposals, and maintain client communications.
- Exceptional written English skills and professionalism in communication.
- Strong organizational capabilities and meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to comprehend client needs and effectively match them with company services.
- Local to Yerevan with availability to work full-time onsite at our office.
