About Mindrift and the Role

Mindrift is seeking experienced Frontend Developers with skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks like React or Next.js to contribute to the Tendem project. This initiative blends AI with human expertise to create top-quality landing pages and multi-page websites. As a Frontend Developer, also called an AI Pilot within Mindrift, you will work alongside AI-powered Tendem Agents who automate routine tasks, while you focus on frontend craftsmanship, design quality, and ensuring client requirements are met with pixel-perfect precision.

The Mindrift platform connects domain experts with innovative AI projects, aiming to unleash the power of Generative AI through global collaboration.

Responsibilities

Create landing, waitlist, and promotional pages emphasizing clear hero sections, calls to action, and conversion-optimized layouts.
Develop small multi-page websites such as portfolios, restaurant sites, small business websites, or simple online stores, adhering to client briefs and straightforward site structures.
Design and implement responsive, mobile-first layouts that display flawlessly across different devices and browsers.
Integrate form functionalities, email capture mechanisms, basic analytics tools, and simple CMS or headless content sources.
Apply best practices for on-page SEO including semantic HTML, meta tags, site performance, and accessibility standards to ensure pages are optimized for ranking and advertising.
Assess and refine AI-generated frontend code, fine-tuning markup, styling, structure, and text placement to meet high production standards.
Independently diagnose and resolve layout inconsistencies, performance problems, and cross-browser compatibility issues.

Requirements

Minimum of three years of professional experience in frontend development, focusing on landing page or website creation.
Preferred academic background: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, Design, or a related field.
Proven ability to deliver polished, conversion-driven web experiences using modern frontend technologies and responsive design principles.
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, including techniques such as Flexbox and Grid.
Hands-on knowledge of at least one contemporary frontend framework such as React, Next.js, Vue, or Astro.
Experience with utility-first CSS frameworks like Tailwind or modern component libraries.
Ability to translate designs from tools such as Figma or detailed briefs into clean, maintainable code.
Familiarity with implementing forms, email capture, and setting up basic analytics (e.g., GA4, Plausible).
Understanding of on-page SEO fundamentals, accessibility criteria (WCAG), and Core Web Vitals.
Experience working with simple CMS or headless content management systems including Webflow, Framer, Sanity, or Contentful is advantageous.
Strong attention to detail and an aesthetic sense to ensure developed pages are visually purposeful rather than generic.
Self-motivated with the ability to complete deliverables independently with limited supervision.
A portfolio demonstrating successfully deployed landing pages and/or small websites is mandatory.
English language proficiency at an upper-intermediate level (B2) or above is required.

Additional Information

This is a part-time freelance position primarily remote, requiring an estimated commitment of 10 to 20 hours weekly during active project periods. Workload may vary depending on project needs and is not guaranteed throughout.

Compensation can reach up to $60 per hour equivalent based on experience, skill level, and work pace. Rates may differ across other projects on the platform, reflecting scope and complexity.
