Field Service Technician

Overview

General Energy Management Systems Pvt Ltd (GEMS) is seeking dedicated Field Service Technicians to install, commission, and maintain energy management and electrical equipment at varied customer sites across India. Candidates with education in Electrical, ENTC, Mechanical Engineering, or related trades with relevant experience or fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Job Responsibilities

• Install, commission, and ensure proper functioning of energy management systems and electrical devices.
• Carry out both preventive and corrective maintenance at client locations.
• Identify and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical system issues effectively.
• Perform routine inspections, testing, and system evaluations to maintain optimal performance.
• Adhere strictly to company protocols and safety regulations while performing duties.
• Document service activities through reports and maintain comprehensive maintenance records.
• Liaise with customers and internal teams to coordinate installation and service efforts.
• Respond promptly to breakdown service calls, providing technical assistance as needed.
• Willingness to travel extensively to project sites throughout India.

Candidate Requirements

• Diploma in Electrical, ENTC, Mechanical Engineering, or ITI certifications in Electrical, Fitter, Electronics, Mechanical or related trades.
• Open to both freshers and individuals with prior experience.
• Basic understanding of electrical, mechanical, and electronic systems.
• Knowledge of wiring, electrical panels, and installation practices.
• Ability to read basic electrical schematics is advantageous.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in teams.
• Basic computer proficiency preferred.

Additional Information

Successful candidates must be prepared for frequent travel to client project sites across India to fulfill installation and maintenance responsibilities.
