About the Role

Gourmet Food Parlour invites skilled and approachable full-time waiting personnel to join our Front of House team at our Santry, County Dublin restaurant. Primary Responsibilities

• Warmly greet guests and escort them to their tables.
• Present menus and offer detailed explanations of various dishes and beverages.
• Make informed suggestions highlighting our specialties.
• Accurately take orders and record them within the EPOS system.
• Ensure prompt delivery of food and drinks to tables.
• Manage a dedicated area of the dining space, overseeing customer satisfaction throughout their visit.
• Comply with food safety, hygiene, and security standards, particularly HACCP guidelines.
• Review the presentation and quality of dishes to maintain our standards.
• Identify and accommodate special customer needs and requests.
• Handle complaints and concerns calmly and efficiently.
• Present bills and process payments.
• Work collaboratively with fellow staff members.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• At least one year of experience in waiting staff or similar customer service roles.
• Barista skills are a plus.
• Familiarity with cash registers and ordering systems.
• Customer-focused mindset.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain composed under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Comprehensive food and wine knowledge.
• Consistent punctuality and dependable attendance.
• Availability for flexible shifts including early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays.
• Adherence to company dress code and personal hygiene standards in line with HACCP.
• Willingness to perform various duties during shifts.
• Possession of a valid work permit or visa.
