Role overview
This role is centered on supporting a Partner, along with two to three additional lawyers. The right person will be someone who stays ahead of issues, communicates clearly, and handles details with care.
Key responsibilities
- Handle the Partner’s calendar and scheduling needs, while also coordinating incoming mail, email, phone enquiries, client-related communication, and broader team or department logistics.
- Deliver day-to-day administrative and office assistance, including keeping filing systems and contact records well maintained.
- Answer calls, relay messages, and pass on information to the Partner in a timely and accurate manner.
- Arrange all travel-related support for the Partner, including accommodation, transport, and meal planning.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to keep work moving efficiently and remove bottlenecks.
- Keep the Partner’s records, files, and documents organised and up to date.
- Coordinate team communications and help plan both internal activities and off-site events.
- Safeguard confidentiality and maintain a consistently professional approach in all communications, materials, and correspondence.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant administrative experience, ideally in a role reporting directly to senior management.
- Strong spoken and written English communication skills.
- Well-developed interpersonal, organisational, and communication abilities.
- Excellent time management, organisation, and multitasking capability.
- Comfort using standard office productivity tools, plus the ability to pick up new software and systems quickly.
- Team-oriented, adaptable, flexible, and ready to take on new challenges.
- High discretion and the ability to protect confidential company and employee information.
