Role overview
An ambitious and rapidly growing provider of EV charging technology is looking for an experienced Business Development Manager / Senior Sales Manager to drive expansion and commercial growth in the electric vehicle charging market. This is a high-impact opportunity to own a developing market, create a partner network from the start, and contribute directly to the scaling of a fast-moving EV charging business.
What you will do
- Create and roll out a nationwide go-to-market plan for AC EV charging solutions.
- Find, onboard, and manage important channel partners such as installers, distributors, system integrators, and charge point operators.
- Develop a partner ecosystem that supports strong market entry and sustainable long-term growth.
- Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and technical forums to build awareness and generate leads.
- Own the sales pipeline, forecasting process, and revenue achievement.
- Win new business while deepening relationships with existing partners.
- Meet and exceed quarterly and annual sales goals.
- Work with broader commercial teams to uncover cross-sell opportunities and increase account value.
- Lead complex negotiations and manage strategic customer relationships.
- Track competitor moves, pricing shifts, regulatory changes, and government incentive programs.
- Collect market feedback and customer insights to help guide product development and commercial direction.
- Act as the market representative internally and help shape solutions that match customer needs.
- Coordinate closely with product, technical, operations, and supply chain teams to support successful project delivery.
- Share regular sales updates, forecasts, and market intelligence with senior leadership.
Experience and profile
The role calls for someone with 3 to 5 years of experience in EV charging sales, business development, or channel management, specifically with AC charging exposure. A strong background in building sales channels and generating revenue in the EV charging sector is essential. Experience introducing new products, brands, or market entrants is a strong advantage.
You should understand the EV charging ecosystem, including installers, distributors, CPOs, and other industry stakeholders, and have an established network in this space. The position also requires a proven ability to create opportunities, close business, and build long-term strategic partnerships. Strong commercial judgement, negotiation ability, and relationship management skills are important.
Fluency in both German and English is required.

Compensation and work setup
Salary range: €75,000 to €110,000 depending on experience, plus variable pay and benefits. The position is remote and based in Germany.
