Role Overview
We seek a motivated and results-driven Enrollment Counselor to join our admissions team. This role involves engaging with prospective learners, assessing their career ambitions, presenting our educational offerings, clarifying their queries, and guiding them through the enrollment journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with inbound prospective students via phone, email, WhatsApp, and other communication platforms.
- Assess each prospect’s background, learning goals, and career aspirations to provide personalized guidance.
- Communicate details about course content, curriculum, expected outcomes, fees, and enrollment procedures.
- Establish trust through consultative counseling techniques.
- Handle objections adeptly and offer suitable solutions to encourage enrollment.
- Maintain comprehensive records of leads and sales activities within the CRM system.
- Consistently follow up with interested candidates to maximize enrollment conversions.
- Meet or exceed monthly enrollment and revenue targets.
- Coordinate with admissions and operations teams to ensure smooth onboarding for new students.
- Stay informed about current course offerings, industry developments, and competitor programs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in any field.
- 1 to 4 years of experience in admissions counseling, education sales, telesales, or consultative sales roles.
- Prior experience in EdTech, training institutes, skill development, or professional education sectors is advantageous.
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English and Hindi.
- Strong persuasion, negotiation, and objection management capabilities.
- Familiarity with CRM software and proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
- Self-driven, organized, and focused on achieving targets.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of export-import, international trade, logistics, supply chain, or business training programs is a plus.
- Ability to build strong relationships and engage effectively with customers.
- Capable of working independently while also collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Positive attitude with eagerness to learn and grow.
