Job Overview
We are seeking an Electrical Engineer in a Management Trainee capacity to oversee the Electrical, Instrument, and Telecom disciplines during construction phases. The role involves ensuring product quality standards and timely delivery towards commissioning milestones.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage the Electrical, Instrumentation, and Telecom sectors within construction projects to assure quality and punctual commissioning delivery.
- Collaborate with the electrical design team to document project needs and formulate comprehensive electrical work plans, covering system construction, testing, and commissioning.
- Analyze electrical drawings including cable ladder, tray, penetrations, system layouts, single line, and interconnection diagrams.
- Participate in electrical hot work fittings, cable termination, continuity checks, megger testing, and Atex inspections.
- Develop detailed work packages categorized by area or subsystem.
- Coordinate manpower, materials, facilities and manage scheduling using P6 software.
- Delegate tasks and provide clear job instructions to subordinates.
- Prepare and ensure availability of necessary materials and facilities for work execution.
- Track and monitor progress against the project schedule.
- Implement the Plan, Do, Check, Act (PDCA) approach on all work tasks.
- Provide daily progress reports to EPCC.
- Liaise and coordinate effectively with vendors, subcontractors, and engineering teams.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Marine Engineering, or related fields.
- Open to entry-level candidates; comprehensive on-the-job training will be provided.
- Understanding of construction scheduling and critical path analysis.
- Experience in managing vendor and subcontractor relationships.
- Capable of independently handling project responsibilities.

Working Schedule
- Monday to Thursday: 8:00 AM to 5:15 PM
- Friday: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
