Role Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented Document Controller with substantial expertise in aviation or large-scale infrastructure projects. This role entails overseeing project document workflows, ensuring adherence to regulatory and quality standards, and supporting multidisciplinary teams in a dynamic environment.
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop and operate comprehensive document control systems tailored for aviation or large infrastructure projects.
- Accurately log, store, and distribute all project-related documents including drawings, contracts, specifications, and reports.
- Apply and maintain standard protocols for document numbering, version management, and filing aligned with organizational and client policies.
- Administer electronic document management platforms to enable seamless document access and sharing.
- Ensure all documentation complies with relevant industry standards, regulations, and project guidelines.
- Perform routine audits of document processes to detect and rectify issues or inefficiencies.
- Assist quality assurance teams by providing precise, updated documentation for inspections and evaluations.
- Serve as the main liaison for document inquiries from internal departments, clients, and contractors.
- Prepare periodic reports detailing document statuses, approvals pending, revisions, and distribution histories.
Qualifications and Experience
- At least seven years of professional experience in document control, specifically within aviation or large infrastructure sectors.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
- Certification in quantity surveying or cost management (e.g., RICS, CIQS) is preferred.
- Proven experience in cost management for operational environments such as airports or retail centers.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving aptitude with effective decision-making capabilities.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills for managing relationships with stakeholders and contractors.
