This position is primarily responsible for carrying out product deliveries with safety and professionalism, while upholding the company’s reputation.

Ensure proper maintenance of the vehicle is upheld by following scheduled checks and completing pre-trip inspection forms before each journey.
Maintain full safety measures for the vehicle and cargo at all times and follow all legal and company standards regarding vehicle safety and cleanliness.
Deliver beer and empty crates punctually and accurately based on specified delivery instructions and routes.
Carry out loading and unloading operations according to set guidelines, verifying all products are accounted for at both loading and unloading points, and ensure all delivery paperwork is properly signed and issued.
Manage fuel consumption efficiently by adhering to the standard fuel usage per 100km, minimizing idling time, and avoiding unnecessary braking.
Eliminate breakages and missing bottles to zero by driving securely and cautiously.
Complete pre-trip inspection forms precisely and maintain accurate fuel logs, submitting reports on time following company procedures.
Submit all delivery performance and operational reports promptly as required, including reporting any safety or operational incidents.

Basic literacy and numeracy skills
Fluent communication in English and Swahili, including verbal and written abilities to resolve customer inquiries
Familiarity with using electronic devices
Fundamental understanding of vehicle mechanics

A relevant diploma or equivalent university degree with at least one year of academic experience
A valid Heavy Duty Vehicle driver’s license Class C & D issued from Sumatra
At least three years’ experience operating heavy goods vehicles
